Adam Lea

Adam Lea joined the Department of Space and Climate Physics in November 2002 as a postdoctorial research fellow. His research interests are the seasonal prediction of hurricanes, typhoons and tropical cyclones in the Atlantic, Northwest Pacific and Australian regions. Adam has a 1st class degree in Mathematics and Meteorology from the University of Reading (1999) and a PhD in "Turbulent Flow over Forested Hills" at the University of Leeds (1999-2003). His hobbies include golf, bridge, chess and hiking.
